January 18, 2014 - This wine was way, way past it's prime - my wife thought it was still drinkable, I didn't think it was even close to drinkable. It had been well-stored but, at 6 years of age was quite oxidized. It says two things - don't keep Pinot gris that long (it was unintentional on my part) and especially don't keep any wine that long that has a synthetic cork. I had forgotten about the cork in these bottles and was frankly shocked when I saw it upon removing the foil. For a winery that is quite highly regarded, I was very surprised that they would stoop to using this sort of cork rather than a real one or a screw top, either of which might possibly have kept the oxidation at bay. At the end of the day, however, shame on me for keeping the wine in my cellar that long.

December 29, 2010 - One of the very best Oregon pinot gris' I have ever tasted. Outstanding. Layers and layers of tropical fruits with a little bit of zippiness underneath to give it structure. This wine feels so viscous, has such a beautiful straw color to it, a nose that draws you right into the glass - you can't wait to taste it. And I was immediately smitten with the taste. I'm very much looking forward to getting back out to the winery to buy some more of this wine.

September 28, 2010 - Sweet to me, not neccessairly to my style. A dusty quality to the finish Nate notes. I just am not a fan.
