Community Tasting Notes 3

November 23, 2013 - Not much changed in the three years since the last note. Still a light hazy crimson that belies that power and richness of the wine. Full, yet elegant, and loaded with tea, clove, and spice to go along with cherry pie.

August 19, 2010 - Light hazy crimson. Expressive nose of bing cherry and spice. Full in the mouth, and much richer than the appearance would suggest. Nice finish. Cherries, spice, light tea, cedar and vanilla.

November 14, 2009 - Chicago Pinot Days-2009 (Navy Pier, Chicago IL): nose: real creamy and pretty nose of red fruits, red cherries, red currants, spice tones and bits of tart raspberries

taste: suave and pretty medium feel gives way to excellent tones of creamed red fruits, red cherries, spice tones and a touch of raspberries

overall: a real quality pinot. Well balanced with real nice and tart aromatics. Needs a bit of time to unwind, this should develop nicely over the next few years
