November 24, 2023 - This was a fantastic bottle. Slow ox’d for 6 hours and then consumed over 3. Continued to open up for several hours in the glass, I really think you can’t over decant this one.
Youthful and fresh, berries, tobacco and leather on the nose. Big fruit on the palate, some nice acidity, and a bit of oak on the long finish. This was surprisingly good now, but will continue to evolve and improve for many many years.5 people found this helpful Comments (3) -

November 17, 2023 - Wonderful St. Julien, just open and drink it, no decanting necessary. Nice Cabernet notes with typical St Julien taste.

September 8, 2023 - I feel this wine has underdelivered for me at least a smidge. It has an elegant bouquet redundant of blackberries and blackcurrants. It is silky smooth, medium bodied, with lots of dark cherries, a hint of tobacco, a bit of spice. Maybe I am being too hard. I don't see this getting a whole lot better over time. Drink or Hold.

September 5, 2023 - Firm, bright, leafy, and fresh, the wine is concentrated, and the fruits are bright, crisp, and chalky. Overall, there is a lean to the crisp, through sweet, red fruit side of the classic, style range. The wine blends 85% Cabernet Sauvignon with 15% Merlot. Drink from 2028-2048.
