March 3, 2019 - Nicely evolved. The nose is deep dark plum jam with hints of mushrooms and woody spices. The palate is as elegant with the initially jammy attack giving way to tender tannins and a creamy texture on the finish. All is perfectly balanced between medium acidity and integrated alcohol and tannins.

August 31, 2010 - The nose is still fairly closed with just a hint of raisins coming through. The palate lacks a bit of subtlety, starting off on plums and moving to more leathery flavours. Good tannic structure on the finish, probably a sign that it still needs plenty of time before it is primed for drinking.
