Community Tasting Notes 6

September 7, 2013 - First of 3 bottles. Spices, cherry, earth, and tannins are nice and smooth. I can't say it's a typical Pomerol (tates more like a left bank - such as St-Julien), but appears to be just the right time to drink it. Still plenty of fruit to keep it going for some time though. Very nice second wine. Nice surprise for me, considering CT score.

August 7, 2012 - Silky tannins. Minerals and dark cherries.

February 26, 2012 - Minerals and earthy. Smooth tannins, but taste doesn't linger. Not much there.

December 15, 2010 - Not familiar with this wine, but wanted to try before serving to a large gathering during holidays. Lovely color, nose filled with minerals and wood, good legs; being a young wine tannins expected and present but not overly so, and they are not unpleasant to the taste; fruits, some floral tinges, but not overly loaded with complex tastes. For my needs in pouring for knowledgable and uninformed, it should satisfy both, hence 86 score.
