October 17, 2015 - A bit mean and tart at opening. Needed 2 hours breathing. Then fleshed out: had freshness, quite pretty, with definition, firm acidity, fully integrated tennis; bright blue and blackberry fruits. Poised, with earthy underpinning and subtle overtones. Not over the moon, but well defined and true to type. Medium finish. Honest and not overreaching.
