  -mild TCA and red fruits
  -med/med+ acidity, mildly corked which is a shame because the underlying red delicious apple fruit remained remarkably fresh for an 11 year old Bourgogne

  Lighter bodied, red-fruited, higher acidity, mature elements, med- tannins, not very complex but wholly satisfying and very good for what it is. This bottle suggests the wine to be on a mature plateau starting a slow decline.

  February 16, 2014 - PopnPour, tasted over 3 hrs and Day 2
  -semi-translucent med red with light purple and slight browning
  -candied cherry, a little funk
  -tart acidity, simple red cherry fruit and bitter earth, very light, still some dusty tannins
  -not quite as good as some prior bottles, may actually benefit from a couple years of additional time

  December 11, 2013 - Barely darker than a rose, red garnet color. Nose of rocky soil, tart cherry, brown leaves. Plenty of bracing acidity to bolster transparent flavors of cherry, red raspberry, and overturned earth. Finishes with a handful of tannin and the taste of salty stones. Traditional style Burgundy, and I really like it. Begs for good food.
