October 8, 2011 - Enjoyed several bottles of this vintage in 2008 and 2009. It was an extremely rich, luscious and flavorful wine back then. It was truly a thing of beauty. It is now more subdued. It would be elegant if it had just a bit more balance. There is still a lot of vibrant fruit to enjoy – a mix of blueberry, cherry and grape – but the finish is definitely shorter and less pleasant than it used to be. It's still a lot better than many other wines.
