September 18, 2017 - We were afraid the wine was too far past its prime, but we were pleasantly surprised that it was still very drinkable. Aroma and palate had hints of raspberry and cherry as well as earthiness.

July 16, 2011 - Nose: mishmash of fruit, a bit funky.

Taste: Cherry with a bite, a bit too cinnamon spicy for me taste.

Also not sure it really improved with age.

March 20, 2011 - Smell was pinot but not concentrated, but not too sweet, not too fruity.

In retrospect, the nose told me that the taste might be a off. It took about half hour for the taste to come together: good fruit, plummy cherry. Decent value but not a special event wine.

April 3, 2010 - Subdued red color; nose was meaty/leathery. Taste was soft but not at all flabby. Nicely balanced. A great pairing with a simple roast chicken. Delicious.

March 27, 2010 - Root beer, earth, plums and dark fruits. Crisp acidity and fresh fruits. Pine forest. Good PN value for the money.

February 3, 2010 - Over the top pinot. Syrah like and out of wack.

December 4, 2009 - Nose was unmistakably Pinot. Lots of barnyard funk to start. But on its all on top of plent of red cherry fruit and cola. Great body and pretty silky. Very good QPR. Pine needles. Creamy oak on the finish.
