March 30, 2024 - Nice nose. Quite classic.
Dark, savoury fruits. It has warmth and softness but the black bible leather flavour makes this a bit stern. Needs food.
Good wine. More like St Estephe (at least in the old days) than Margaux.

August 26, 2023 - Nose of sweet tobacco, licorice, cassis and vanilla. None of the “stinky”-ness noted by certain critics. Finish is medium but the palate is pleasant with integrated tannins and good red and black fruits. Classic Bordeaux.

May 12, 2021 - Final bottle. Crisp acidity, mild but slightly drying tannins, quite peppery, cool minerality, red cherries, tertiary development (rosehip, white nuts, forest floor), light and fresh, liquorice and a hint of vanilla, transparent but without much weight, dry finish but good length. Still agreeable but completely ready. Drink up. Holds up well on the second day.
