March 17, 2014 - Nice clear ruby, but with slight brownish tint. Very little bricking. Nice modern nose a la Caparzo, Fanti. Hard to describe, but forest floor and cherry? Nice spicy mid-palate of same. Medium acidity. Medium finish.

February 28, 2014 - 1 hr decant. A pleasant, lighter style Brunello with not much else happening. Smooth tannins in the background. I do not think this is one to age long-term so I would drink over the next 5 years. I've had better for the price.

88 points; purchased from winebid on 1/15/2012 for $34.50

January 18, 2014 - Nice wine, mostly consumed with a meal of pasta and red meat sauce. Paled in comparison to some heartier California wines over the course of the evening. It was a largely unfair comparison.

November 10, 2013 - Sweet, fruity nose with cherry a the predominant player. Lots of fruit on the palette with chocolate and coffee on the finish. Tannins are still a little young. This will continue to improve for another 5+ years.

July 30, 2013 - Deep rich color to the rim very deep purple. Medium body with strong tears and very structured. Nose of menthol, cream, cherries, mint, chocolate mocha. Bright cherries and milk chocolate on the palate with bright acidity and good tannins suggesting longevity. Finish not stellar.

December 22, 2011 - Awsome, the reviews for the 2004 Brunello's were not kidding, this is an great vintage. Can't wait to get into the other 2004s.

August 28, 2010 - This wine is a brick red colored, medium bodied wine with 13.5% alcohol. It is still tightly wound up, but from what I picked up in this wine, it gave off floral and fragrant aromas, as well as aromas of plums and currants. It tasted of plums, cassis and chocolate. This wine is made to age, it will be at its best between 2012 and 2020, but should still be good at 20+ years old. 94 points for right now, if it improves the way I think it will, it can go up another point or 2.
