July 17, 2023 - Pronounced nose intensity with notes of red and black fruits, cassis, vanilla, toast, spices. Medium+ acidity and medium+ tannin. Long finish. Full bodied. Already entering its drinking window. Will improve with aging.
December 17, 2022 - Paired against Lafleur. Much more evolved and aged. Expressive nose - bit sweet. Drinking very well now.
October 29, 2022 - Très rive droite comme style, une texture tellement soyeuse en bouche avec ces tanins polis et fondus mais ayant encore juste assez de poigne, un équilibre parfait, classe et élégance et comme un ami a dit, de la dentelle. 93-94
Very right bank in style, silk on the palate literally, great balance and enormous length, loved it.
October 28, 2022 - My second best wine of the night. Quickly showing its origin with silky smooth taste of black fruit, cigar box and cedar. One of my favored producers in Pomerol.
June 20, 2022 - Beautiful pomerol. A lot of power and tanins. The wine is ready but I guess it can stay in full power for quite a lot of years. This is not a feminine pomerol in any way, the wine is full throttle and delicious.
August 5, 2021 - From magnum. I found this a bit flat and generic. Such a surprise after how incredible the 09 and 10 both are.
May 16, 2021 - Opened last night. Still-strong dark red, with an edge more red than brown. Perfumed. Feminine nose of red currant, sandalwood, lead pencil and red berry. Soft in the mouth as well, very feminine, on the sexy, voluptuous side. No real sign of age, seems to be right at its peak, and should stay there for a while. Long finish. 5-13-16-8: 92/100.
August 25, 2020 - Random Tues @ Park90!: Black cherries, kirsch - tight at the start but opened up nicely after 30 minutes to black currants, spices. Rather dense, concentrated and opulent. This has the meats for a bright future. I would give this at least 2 - 3 more years for it to shed its tannins and fats. Hold
August 15, 2020 - A but shy and rough at first but opened out into a lovely wine. Chocolate and dark fruit. Better on the second day. Plenty of time.
July 17, 2020 - Silky smooth with impeccable tannins, very clean, not with any astonishing complexity, but with time it will evolve further. Refreshing, medium-bodied, utterly drinkable and with everything in good measure. A fine claret to drink or hold.
