December 13, 2019 - The 2006 vintage is another superb example of the consistency this label demonstrates. For those that enjoy the mellow side of a California cab, this is your wine. And for those that want to explore this label more, I have written noted for other years, and they are essentially all the same, Superb. A better idea would be to just drink one yourself and you will know what I mean.

November 29, 2019 - Decanted for 4+ hours, this wine feels fully integrated. Tannins are no longer discernible. Peppery, leather and smoke on the nose. Blackcurrant and cherry on the palate, this is not your typical over extracted fruit bomb. Nice complexity with a smooth, lingering finish. Feels like this is in a prime drinking window. This is a very good value Napa cab at $55.

August 17, 2019 - Very nice wine in a really good place.
Very smooth in the mouth. Vanilla, spice, and a little leather make this easy to drink. The finish was decent, continuing the initial flavors and maybe adding some earthy tones. It is not overly complex but had enough going for it to make it an enjoyable experience.
Although I think this will be enjoyable for a while, I don’t think there is any upside remaining either. Drink up now

September 26, 2015 - Still a big wine but guessing the fruit has subsided a bit. Finish is great

November 17, 2014 - Really developed into an interesting wine after about 4 hour decant. The wine is dark and grows cloudier over time. It had a velvety texture with deep, dark fruits that are not sweet and developed real complexity. Really strong mid palate and nice finish with dark chocolate, smokiness and tobacco flavors. Tannins are completely integrated. Nose was never extremely giving but some fruit, lavender and vanilla extract. Wonderful bottle. Super QPR at $55.

February 15, 2013 - Though this is my first bottle, from the other notes it appears to have developed some nice savory notes. At first the nose was mostly vanilla, but that opened up after about an hour into earth, aged cheese, sweat, and warm spices. The dark fruit is still there, though not as prominent as I would have expected. A touch of orange peel added some intrigue to the palate. Good tannin and acidity made this better with food (steak!) than without. Overall quite good and ready to drink.

November 19, 2011 - Tasted blind-- fruity nose, palate is dry, lots of fruit up front but has a nice tannic gripping finish, this could get beter with a little more time.
