December 19, 2012 - Garnet color with dark fruit, licorice, and spice aromas. On the palate, it's medium bodied and fresh with a smooth texture, impeccable balance, and soft well-integrated tannins. This beautiful wine shows flavors of mixed berry, hints of cassis, spice, dark chocolate and mineral flavors with a medium-long finish. It's aged well, I last had a bottle about a year ago...

September 8, 2012 - Very good Zinfandel. Needs to sit open for about 1/2 hour before drinking
July 3, 2012 - Very jammy, not enough spice for my taste in zin. Others in my group enjoyed the excessive fruit.
March 17, 2012 - This is a very good bottle of wine. I drank the first glass too soon after opening. It was a little rough, my first thought was that it needed another year or so to age. I recommend to decant the wine for at least 15-30 minutes. By my second glass, all the fruity smells and tastes were there. The wine got smoother and smoother, better and better with every couple sips. Do not put this wine away and finish tomorrow. Finish the bottle, it's well worth going the distance. Great choice for my St. Patrick's Day afternoon.
February 3, 2012 - Juicy and zesty, with aromas of black cherry and tomato leaf and flavors of plum and hot, smoky spices. Drink now through 2016. 1,250 cases made. –TF
January 29, 2012 - Good, easy to drink. Medium bodied. Nice and fruity with very soft tannins.
November 12, 2011 - Sampled 11/5/11 and 11/11/11. At the winery and they were blowing cases out for $120. Had to try it. Loads of nearly jammy red fruits up front, which start to fade after mid palate but hang on through the finish. A simple, very smooth and harmless wine. Perfect wedding wine for the price as it is an easy crowd pleaser. Bought a case, took it home with me had to try it again last night just to be sure before the rest became stocking stuffers. Same notes.
November 6, 2011 - Garnet color with dark fruit, cassis, and licorice aromas. On the palate approaching medium bodied, with good balance, and dark cherry, spice, and cocoa flavors. Medium-long finish.
