March 28, 2024 - Boy did it need time to open and then wow. Slightly oxidated. Light amber color, good palate feel and went down nicely.

January 25, 2024 - Nose: sherry, balsamic, bruised apples, white flower, gasoline, nuts
Notes: although the nose is demonstrating some sherry and balsamic like characteristic the palate is holding up really well and offers quite some intensity. After breathing for a while some white flowers began to appear. Although this wine is complex and flavorful I am in doubt if any further development can happen to this wine. All things considered I can't say that I've enjoyed this wine as much as I anticipated and probably would not open another one from the same vintage even if I had the same bottle. This has probably passed its prime drinking time and will be moving downhill from now on.

June 28, 2022 - From magnum. After a rough opening, the flavors responded and it was great over the evening. Wife says it was too young (33) but I said we have more. Drink/hold.

May 19, 2021 - I could literally drink this bottle every day (out of Magnum!). It is in a perfect window right now. It had a wonderful nose straight out of the bottle, with flaky croissant intermingling with honey, meyer lemons and salinity. The palate was beautiful with some hazelnuts, more pastry and still ripe citrus and a wonderful lengthy finish. It was very elegant and youthful and felt like a much younger and fresher wine. This is a tremendous food wine, and any Champagne lover will go crazy for this.

November 27, 2020 - From magnum, this was remarkably fresh. A complete wine with great persistence. Had this standing up before dinner, but honestly I wish we had it sitting down with the meal able to fully concentrate. That said, it paired brilliantly with hand passes like sushi.

November 23, 2018 - Friendsgiving Burgundy Dinner (Scottsdale, AZ): Past its prime but I rather enjoyed it though most people did not... Whispers of spice from a fading beauty.
