December 24, 2017 - Light red fruit, hints of curry. Flavor was a little all over the place maybe because it is reaching the end of its life. Drank with Borscht and it was a great pairing

August 21, 2017 - Tasted at the winery tasting room. This wine is 13.5% ABV, light to medium ruby with a bit of bricking on the edge. The nose is spicy and slightly caramelized like burnt brown sugar. Slightly oxidized to me, fruit mostly gone but nice secondary flavors of burnt orange peel, but I am a sucker for the secondary flavors. Most might rate this lower.

April 13, 2015 - Very nice. Cherry red color beginning to show a tinge of brick in the rim. Great red fruits - still bright. Soft tannins. Didn't last in the bottle too long as day two witnessed a steep decline. Drink up.

    November 3, 2014 - Fantastic Oregon pinot

Popped and poured over 4 hours with last one being the best. Nose was classic 2007 vintage with red brassy fruit, forest, mushroom aromas and dirt. No heat. Palate had beautiful acidity with delicious precise higher toned red fruit. Very nimble wine. Finished long with watering acidity.

    Another sh&tty Oregon pinot. Terrific.

Probably in my top Oregon pinots to date.

February 21, 2013 - Cherry red. Black cherry nose with some kirsch. Nice tannins, good fruit, sweet with just a hint of bitterandsome mineral strength. Nice wine, coming into it's own.
