April 22, 2014 - Brown Bag Wine Dinner at Two Chefs - Double Blind: The wine looks crimson colored. The legs are slow. It smells like blackberry, raspberry, walnut, espresso, oak and chocolate. The body is medium/full. The wine has juicy texture. The wine finishes long. The wine has medium acidity. Bob's wine.

March 5, 2014 - Mature Tempranillo tasting (The Traklin Wine-Bistro): dark ruby
    intense tertiary Tempranillo aromas
med-full bodied, firm tannins, good acidity, nice balance, still enough fruitiness, med finish. Quite enjoyable.
Should be decanted for 1-2 hours.

    November 3, 2009 - Hum...here we go again...Tasted blind..hard to identify the varietal.
Correctly guessed Spain but being slaughtered by the amount of the oak, pretty much could be anything.
The color doesn't show any age. Caramel on the nose, plenty of oak both on palate and nose, coffee, it is to me just undrinkable. Tannic with low acidity, super extracted, boring and heavy.
