July 19, 2009 - Vivid and crystal clear flavors of wild strawberry; almost carries a vervy edge. Ultra smooth and silky, very fresh. Hard to ask for more from a rose. To buy and enjoy this summer!

June 9, 2009 - Another winner winner chicken dinner from Trey. I'd call him the "King of Rose" but I'm afraid any self-respecting winemaker may take that as a backhanded compliment. Sorry Trey! Served virtually ice cold at the outset. Ruby red color with aromas of spice, red fruits, a little watermelon, and baked rhubard. Sharp and tart at first, it eventually gives way to strawberry coulis and spiced watermelon. A Full mouthfeel, bright acidity, and lip smacking finish deliver another first rate rose from SofH. My mother, who is never impressed with rose, thought this was spectacular and actually wanted to Rock, Paper, Scissor for the last glass. Paper beats rock, mom! 90pts.

June 1, 2009 - A nice big, sharp, watermelon-y Rose'. Big strawberries on the palate. Went fairly well with some bbq'd herbed chicken.

May 4, 2009 - Just when I convince myself I prefer a Rose' from one of the Rhone grapes, along comes another great dry Cab Franc Rose'. A nose of dried strawberries and red fruits, graphite, and watermelon. The strawberries come thru on the palate along with some light and tart cranberries, and some sweet herbs. A little acidity, nice round mouthfeel, and a decent finish. Gulpable stuff! Nice work Trey.
