April 26, 2020 - Plush with well-integrated tannins. Notes of chocolate, oak, and cherry. This is sophisticated and elegant. Better on night one with a couple hours of air. I think this will hold for a long time.

November 19, 2019 - Quite a rich style of wine but also quite delicious with distinctly ripe dark raspberry and violet flavors and a wonderful minty note. Full but not over the top with good freshness and underlying acidity. I swear that if I tasted this blind, I would guess a 15-year old vintage of Grange.

September 17, 2018 - With a strong sense of floral notes, the wine is full bodied, silky, polished and earthy. The fruits are ripe, pure, sweet and fresh, leaving you with juicy, sensuous, plums, cherries, truffles, licorice and a whist of espresso. Ass good as this is now, it is still in its youth, so if you have the patience, this should be even better with up to a decade of age.

May 3, 2012 - Great fruit here with lovely aromatics; very smooth and polished palate. Lovely effort - long with some grippy tannins on the finish.

May 4, 2011 - Superb ripeness here. Lifted and fresh with spice; gorgeous texture and flavour on the palate, superb fruit with spice nuances. A lovely 2008, perhaps one of the best from the right bank.
