May 3, 2014 - This is the last bottle of two lots of six total bottles purchased in 2011 and 2012. Every bottle, to include this one has been exceptional and this particular bottle is very complex: spicy apple cobbler, tons of butterscotch, creamy meringue, creme brûlée, and juicy melon. Balanced, nuanced, and layered; great creamy mouthfeel and a strong finish. It's been fun to enjoy the wine the last three years. I'm hesitant to say any wine is the best I've ever enjoyed, but this has to be one of the top three Chardonnay's I've had to date. Probably good through mid-2015. Enjoyed with pan seared salmon with shrimp pesto linguine. Outstanding!

January 7, 2014 - This is by far our favourite Chardonnay. Classic Napa Chardonnay. Smooth oak/butter. Incredible balance.

October 19, 2013 - Another Saturday at Domaine (Domaine Wine Storage - Chicago, IL): Another example of a modern-styled Californian chardonnay that teetered on the too-sweet line for me. This didn't have the cut and edge that I like in Chardonnay...but it did have expressive lemon and lime flavor.

March 19, 2013 - Consistent with my prior notes.

January 4, 2013 - Agree with most of the prior tasting notes. Large scaled, buttery chard with a pleasing nose and palate.
