September 11, 2020 - Ruby in color with a wide brick/ orange rim.

Fruity nose of cherries, ripen strawberries, light wood, vinaigrette, dark coffee, earth, forest floor, spices, black pepper and tobacco leaf. Nice nose.

    Medium-bodied with medium plus acidity.

Dry on the palate with cherries, strawberries, currants, barnyard, vegetables, dark chocolates, diet cola, earth, leather, tobacco leaf, spices, wood, light cloves, herbs and peppercorn.

Nice tangy finish with soft tannins and tangy cranberries.

This 14 year old Chianti Classico is still drinking very nicely. Nicely balanced with a nice soft mouthfeel.

A good food wine and even good by itself. Need is an hour of airtime to open up.

Paired very nicely with the double cream Brie cheese.

    12.5% alcohol by volume.

    90 points.

August 30, 2010 - This is our new favorite red wine for guests. Seems to have a great mass appeal to both wine lovers and novices alike. Medium body, fine velvety texture. Blackberry.
