December 5, 2021 - Seems a bit rough and out of sync, maybe past it’s prime. Still very solid, good nose from the petit verdot and body of a malbec.
January 6, 2016 - One of my all time favorites. Amazing.
December 25, 2014 - Decanted for 2 hours and it has great balance and very smooth finish. Wish I had more.
December 27, 2013 - Pulled this bottle on a whim and it was outstanding. Great non traditional bleat with the petite Verdot and Malbec. My wife would not stop talking about how great this wine tasted. Very impressed.
July 1, 2013 - Very nice blend, the Merlot, Malbec and Petit Verdot worked well together. It really opened up after a couple hours in the decanter. I could definitely taste black fruit and vanilla with integrated but not overpowering tannins. This wine was great now but should last a few more years. I wish I had another bottle.
May 26, 2013 - Enjoyable cali blend. Well integrated - not overpowering - not a fruit bomb. Would definitely drink again.

July 19, 2012 - Very nice blend. Took some time to open up. Black fruit and licorice. Well balanced. The tastes are in harmony. My first Krupp wine and I like it!
June 27, 2012 - This is not a booming Napa fruit bomb (which I like by the way). It is elegant and soft - yet it has enough structure to dry your palate just a little. A very solid wine. Smaller than a cab, more fruit than the French. Sort of like baby Opus One.
December 26, 2011 - Drank at Wolflicks after an hour plus decant. Good ripe fruit that integrated well over the following hour or two.
