October 10, 2023 - Unimpressive. Perhaps drunk too warm. Storage? Bottle from auction.

March 26, 2022 - Saffron, yeast, flint, dried citrus peels, ginger, green tea. Enormously complex and intriguing.
    Brilliant stuff.

September 11, 2021 - First time with this wine, and this bottle is amazing, definitely a wine of the year candidate. Many, many layers, and rich, yet with a lot of tension and acidity. Extraordinarily complex, each sip is a pleasure. A privilege to drink!

August 2, 2021 - Right when I was about to give up on finding a great bottle of Valentini this bottles comes to blow my mind away.. what an experience! The cork was soaked and horrible, but never I would have thought that this wine could be so emotional.. at first blurry and classi Valentini nose over the night it built up aromas of coffee, cappuccino with a deep complexity on the palate, a perfect balance and maintaining always a unique elegance.. what a wine!
Drunk next to Coche Dury Bourgogne Chardonnay 2016 the Valentini was WOTN by far

January 1, 2021 - this is the second bottle of this vintage I drink over the past few years and I must admit I am quite disappointed and stand scratching my head on why people talk so highly of this wine. The cork was fine, the nose remained quite reduced throughout the entire night, despite having some possibly good complexity underlying, that remained shaded however, whilst on the palate this was a compete disaster, watery, flat and with a short and sour palate.. not my cup of tea
