December 1, 2023 - Incredibly disappointing and nondescript in comparison to the fantastic 2010. Unrecognizable comparing the two vintages of the same chateau.

December 1, 2023 - Color: deep almost opaque ruby with garnet rims. Still youngish.
Nose: very immediate pencil shavings, milk chocolate with marriages of baked cherry, dried figs and hint of scorched earth.
Palate: expressive fruits, juicy acidity & medium bodied. Integrated but slightly dusty tannins. Finish is long with layers of fruits & savory mineral notes. Perhaps drinking at its peak now1 person found this helpful Comments (1) -

October 28, 2023 - An easy afternoon with close friends (@ My place): Beautiful bouquet with dark chocolate, dark berries, vanilla and graphite. On the palate very full bodied, dark berries, some sweetness, white pepper, herbs and spices, juicy and soft, but firm acidity and tannin, enormous length. This is a luxurious and full bodied wine with silky tannin. Young maturity stage now and will probably improve a bit with some more cellaring. 94 - 95

September 5, 2023 - For the age is still has a pretty big tannin presence. The fruit is still there but the tannins.. This wine can still got for another a couple years.
I did a blind tasting for a WSET level 2 and a level 3. the level 3 holder guessed Napa Cab, the level 2 was closer saying cab forward blend but not close to the region. So it is in interesting wine to say the least. But
