January 17, 2023 - Beautiful color and clarity . Violets on nose /. Round full palate . Soft tannins . Drinking well but may not hold . Drink up.
December 25, 2022 - Soft, silky, medium tannins, well-balanced. Enjoyed with the tenderloin, mashed potatoes, asparagus, and some scallops and it was divine. Spencer and I drank 3/4 of the bottle ourselves.
February 4, 2022 - Beautiful floral aromatics. Deep dark inky black in the glass. Soft and elegant, with an ethereal finish. Lovely wine.

October 1, 2018 - Same impression as note 14 months ago and generally agree w below notes, including that it has some years left.
July 19, 2018 - Been about a year since the last bottle - pnp the first glass, and then sipped over two more hours from decanter. The wine seemed a bit subdued, pleasant enough but didn't have the pop I remember from prior bottles. Don't think it is over the hill - at least I hope not - hoping the remainder of the bottle will be better this evening.
July 14, 2018 - Dark fruit, some graphite, nicely structred, velvety and medium to long finish.
July 1, 2018 - Purple color. Inky, oaky aroma. Flavor is leather, herbs, and a bit of dark fruit. Smooth tannin and acid.
February 27, 2018 - Consumed over 3 days. Drinking quite well, has long life ahead.
