March 6, 2021 - A mature wine with deep crimson color and definite browning on the edges. Nose of big red fruits and red rose petals. Huge juicy fruit on the palate with strawberry jam, red cherries, and red raspberries leading the way. The wine is nicely balanced now with a velvety mouthfeel and medium long finish with the just the slightest alcoholic bite on the backside. Drinking beautifully now so I would suggest drinking them if you still have bottles to enjoy.

October 17, 2010 - This is a stellar bottle of wine from Patty Green and just kicks butt at this price point. It delivers high-toned red cherry flavors and a bit of forest floor. Bright red, in color red currant and strawberry aromas with baking spices and hints of minerality. The sweet, lucious fruit here is the outstanding feature. Finishes juicy, fresh and long.

10/19/2007 (link)(Patricia Green Cellars Pinot Noir “Ana Vineyard”) Single Vineyard Patty Green Dear Friends, I don’t have the ability to do any research on these at the moment - I’m sitting in the stairwell of a loft building in NoHo tasting an eccentric Italian apperativo with Joe Dressner - we’ve escaped the day two clean up from his tasting which was attended by hundreds of natural wine enthusiasts from around the country and judging by the continued mess, it’s going to be a long day. The apperativo tastes like crushed cardamom pods mixed with dried cherries - an amazing combination of flavors and textures but more on that next year when it arrives... Many of you already know about the success Patty Green had in 2006 so this will appeal to those of you that have been waiting for these to debut. In general, this crop of 2006’s shows more varietal tone and elegance than the 2005’s.
