November 9, 2013 - Another Saturday at Knightsbridge - mostly blind (Northbrook, IL): Tasted double blind, paired with the same wine from 1983. This wine was very elegant with very charming mushroom and first floor aromas. Slightly muted but nice enough balance. I preferred this to the 1983, which I found to be off balance, but most tasters today disagreed.

October 7, 2006 - This comes in an old fashioned antique styled bottle. Just looking at it was cool. Unfortunately, the bottle shape was the best part of the experience. The wine was not dead. But, it was close offering a very light, simple, one note tasting experience. Other than some cherries in the finish, it was not interesting. The wine did not last long in the decanter before fading.
