September 14, 2019 - Tasted daily for 5 days without any improvement, but remained enjoyable from the first to last sip. A top wine with most all foods. By itself, decent acidity, fruit, texture, and concentration, but lacks the richness and complexity of the best Gruner Veltliners. Overall, an affordable and good introduction to this kind of wine, without showing us how great it can be.

November 21, 2011 - Aromas of crisp green pear, freshly cut apple, and lime define this wine. White flowers and crushed sea stones also make an appearance.

White pepper and crushed sea stone introduce the palate, while cut green apple and hard green gooseberries play supporting roles. Wildflower stems and a spritz of lime make this a fascinatingly green, incredibly fresh wine. With persistent acidity and a smooth mouth feel, this is a very appealing wine that could match a variety of seafood and poultry dishes, as well as vegetable sautés.

May 31, 2011 - Creamier with heavier fruit than the lois, very mineral and precise still.

January 31, 2011 - Pineapple, lime flower, mikan, and sugar cane. Quite tropical. Full in the mouth, with noticeable (and typical) bitterness and alcohol. A bit better on day two when less fruity. Well made. Can't quite figure out why Gruner was so popular a few years back.

January 19, 2011 - Savory stuff here with smoked salt and fresh herbs accenting green fruits on the aromas. Repetition of herb and smoke on the palate with white pepper and green fruits. Good stuff, a touch pricey for the quality.
