August 14, 2017 - Time has been kind to this wine, and it is in a good drinking window now. Big pinot, showing a lot of cola, but solid fruit and enjoyable. A-

July 23, 2017 - Baby fat gone, light in colour and somewhat in taste, quite elegant, chalk, minerals, PN sweetness here; mature now, very nice and open, no reason to keep this IMHO.

July 12, 2017 - Lots of fruit on the nose and palate that tends toward grape juice. Appreciated the low alcohol and balanced acidity that lead to a delicate profile. However this wine didn't quite live up to my expectations given that it was $72, from a good producer, and from one of the best years in the region. Fruit-based style rather than earthy. Didn't have the complexity or nuance that I would expect. I don't see this improving substantially with time since there aren't strong tannins or acid to allow for aging.

April 22, 2017 - 13.6% alcohol. Aromatically layered, multifaceted, open, and quite beautiful with red cherry, strawberry, raspberry, baking spice, potpourri, forest floor, and earth. Pure, sophisticated, elegant, harmonious, and silky textured in the mouth with terrific concentration, vibrancy, energy, and length. Outstanding bordering on profound showing. Popped, poured, and enjoyed over the course of about two hours at Restaurant Alma.
