April 8, 2023 - Got this in a wine society mystery case of wines that may be past their best. No signs of being past it. Delicious.
March 5, 2022 - Surprisingly good, not at all declining, probably at its peak.
September 22, 2021 - Showing brick color, has reached its aging potential, will start declining in a fee years, tertiary aromas, complex, mid length. Will not get better, drink up and enjoy.
May 13, 2020 - Still drinking well, classic mature bordeaux, tannins prominent.
July 7, 2018 - Plusieurs de bues, il commence a avoir du charme. Côté terreux et sévère un brin. Somme toute agréable. Pourrait gagner encore un peu de maturité. Attention au dépôt !
November 11, 2017 - Still holding on - I don't think this is at the end - fruit is still good and although the tannins have gone they have left a decent backbone.
October 18, 2017 - Feeling pretty mature. Not complex but good robust black fruit and tannin with some earthiness and a decent mouthfeel. Medium length. Will last a while yet.
June 3, 2016 - The first two bottles I tried of this wine in 2012 and 2014 were less than desirable, but this wine is finally drinking very well, it's actually a good value now, if you were patient enough to wait on it.
January 11, 2016 - Well, my mother-in-law liked this so at least my last bottle went to a good cause. Perhaps the quality of the company helped put things in perspective because it didn't taste quite as appalling as the last two. Not a wine I would take to a desert island.
September 13, 2015 - Same as the last one - each to his own but even if you like this type of wine it's a poor example. Either way it tastes heavily chaptalised without the body to support it. I shall keep my last one for a lunch with my mother-in-law.
