May 24, 2023 - Dinner with Alva and Leo from Idealwines: Bready, slightly funky nose. Round texture, slightly honeyed on the palate. A little too natural and oxidative in style for me.

June 18, 2021 - At lunch at Tentazioni, 95% Meunier and 5% Chardonnay, 12&11 base, June 2018 disgorgement. Quite a light style for a Meunier dominant wine, bright fruit, crisp and enjoyable if a little simple.

March 7, 2021 - Base year 2010, deg. 2016. This is open, mature and ready to go. Beautifully aromatic with notes of slightly brownish apple, some spices, chalky minerality, some nuts, also a touch of honey, as well as a nice herbal note. It‘s medium-full bodied, with medium-high acidity and nicely even and smaller mousse. Pretty long finish with very good complexity in this price range. A lovely, mineral-driven and delicious Champagne that is showcasing the abilities of Pinot Meunier.

    November 3, 2020 - DG 10/2018; Base 2013
The meunier dominance is quite clear both on the nose and on the palate, with a high presence of ripe and exotic fruits, almost like biting right into them: pears, pineapple juice, guava, banana, some mango, oranges, and grilled lemons; there are fresh white flowers, followed by gentle toasted notes such as sablé, and a subtle oxidative finish, quite long for this type of apéritif champagne.
This is a very pleasant wine to drink; uncommonly generous in my opinion, for a champagne of this price (35€). It is made to drink right away with a good ripeness of the fruit -characteristic of Bedel- and a decent acidity; it doesn’t immediately seem like a brut, it’s well-balanced, although there is certainly some weight.

June 19, 2020 - Amazing champagne. This version is based on 2010 vintage, disgorged 2017 and with 90% pinot meunier. So complex and lots of brioche, apple and pear. Wonderful.
