July 24, 2012 - Written three weeks after drinking. Two years since last bottle. The wine has developed well. Complex nose, dark mature fruits, spices, meat. Lovely, full round and smooth mouth feel. Glad I still have a handfull of bottles.
March 12, 2012 - Returned to vendor without being opened. Presumed flawed like the two other bottles.
October 30, 2011 - Decanted 1 hour. Aromas of blackcurrant, wood and some tobacco. Lovely fruit and balanced. Smooth tannins. Good length. Beginning to mature. Beware of bottle variation, this one was as it should be.
May 22, 2011 - My previous bottle two years ago didn't impress me, better this time, starting to open up, classic aromas, needs 2-3 more years. A bit too pricy here in Norway.

November 29, 2010 - Okay it's settled, this wine definitely has some bottle variation. But this one was as I remembered my first one being: smooth but wtih great lift and the freshness typical of 01 as well as a distinct lemony quality. Certainly challenging some of the classed growths. Tannin/fruit is still not quite resolved, so waiting another year is still recommended. But I don't have enough reasonably priced Bordeaux in the cellar, so something had to give...
August 20, 2010 - Bordeaux North to South (My house): Long and quite intense. Some brett? A little awkward finish, a bit “milky”.
