November 14, 2010 - I can almost identify Marc Jomain's wines blindfolded. This is his entry-level white Burgundy at a good price, and it does not deviate from his style. The robe is straw and the rim is clear. The nose cannot be fully appreciated unless it is at cellar temperature or above. At the appropriate temperature, it shows a moderately intense bouquet of wet stones which brings back the days of my childhood when I would trout fish at Fall Creek in Felton, CA (a bit random, but pertinent for my personal review). The fruit aromas are those of lemon and kiwi. Light-bodied on the palate, with similar flavors as for the nose. Short-to-medium, crisp finish. I like this wine, albeit perhaps for some sentimental reasons. Drink now-12/12.
