  October 14, 2023 - Wine tasting for friends: This was even better than my bottle from May 2023. Beautiful evolved bordeaux with a long finish. A wine to sip and contemplate.

  May 4, 2023 - Bought a lot of 6 at an auction for 25 CHF each. VTS.
  Same experience as the previous CT: closed at first, opened up nicely in the glass and it was nice to see the wine develop over the evening. I've had better 1959s though (see my note on Croque Michotte).

  November 23, 2016 - Austere, tightknotted, closed down.. but after some air it began to open up. Classic Margaux leather and openess of the cab. Green pepper, some meat and still very much alive tannins.
  Beautiful bottle for sure. We drank it too quick as it should have benefitted from more air!
