January 11, 2024 - Kommt nicht an den 2001er ran. Dennoch natürlich wunderbar gereifte spätlese

December 29, 2023 - Drank this at Kai Garden for a wine dinner with my wine mates. Theme of the evening: A wine to end the year with.

Gold in colour with a beautiful aromatic nose filled with honey, tangerines, lime, and fresh minerals. The sweetness and acidity are in delicate balance , delivering perfect harmony and gastronomical excellence.

April 25, 2022 - Golden color. Pear and honey on the nose. Amazingly light in the mouth. But then the flavors coming pouring out. More pear, honey and stone. This is only just coming into its own and will get better. The sugar is light but present. Great acidity. Great precision. Wonderful wine.

NOSE: light petrol; developing --- clear tertiary honeyed aspect; seems moderately aged; bitter orange marmalade.

BODY: golden yellow color of moderate saturation; full bodied.

TASTE: moderately aged --- still has youthful energy, but flavors are developing; very nice acidity. Drink Now or continue to Hold. next bottle no sooner than 2030. Excellent.
