June 10, 2011 - This is a great everyday wine that is fruit forward with a velvety finish. A hint of herbaceousness gives it some additional character. Considering the price you gotta be pleased with this wine.
June 6, 2011 - OPened and poured a glass immediately. Seemed slightly vegetal at first but went away after about 10-15 minutes. Very easy drinking , minimally complexity and not a huge fruit bouquet. Not a bad finish with just enough tannins to make it work . I do not drink alot of central coast wines ( california) so i am not sure what the benchmark is for Merlot / Cab bordeaux style wines.

November 25, 2010 - Great price for the quality.. good mix of dry/sweet and very drinkable, would def buy more for meals or just general relaxing.. had it with thanksgiving dinner and would open another to watch football if we had it
October 19, 2010 - Nice bright fruit on the nose...continues in the mouth..with some spice and cinnamon/ licorice on the finish. a very nice Merlot by Firestone!
September 22, 2010 - Better than expected. Firm tannins and noticeable acidity. Muted nose and monolithic flavor profile.
August 21, 2010 - Nice smooth finish... Excellent with a ribeye! Dee-lish!
May 11, 2010 - Very good Merlot with lots of bright fruit with some spiciness and smooth tannins. This one is ready to drink up now.
