October 15, 2021 - Nose: Dates. Raisins. Velvet. Liquorice. Floral. Vanilla. Blueberry. Medium plus intensity.

Palate: Raisins. Dates. Strawberry. Dry. Medium plus tannins. Medium acidity. Medium body. Medium flavour intensity.

    Finish: Medium finish. Chocolate.

Tasted besides 2006. Drink now, will not improve.

April 13, 2021 - Cork was perfect, nice bright ruby with very little to no bricking. Big open nose black currant, spice and hint of leather. Medium bodied with nice balance, dark cherries dominate the fruit, drinking well and should continue to do so for the next five years.

October 11, 2017 - Very good. Like a perfectly mature Bordeaux. Was left to decant and it softened it nicely. A lovely blend of fruit, oak and floral aromas with nice structure, yet soft and very easy to drink. À point.

August 29, 2017 - Coravin tasting. Bordeaux on the nose and the palate. Nice oak, plenty of fruit, open and ready. Coconut again and vanilla. Doesn't seem as Rioja like as last time but there are some hints of Rioja style sweetness here. Medium finish, a little harsh and acidic on the end. Nice.

July 7, 2017 - Coravin tasting. Nice okay nose, coconut, touch of smoke. Soft and creamy on the palate, fruit and oak and coconut. Hint of TCA but not sure?? Lovely though. Like a good 2000 Bordeaux cru classé.
Scratch the TCA comment. It's fine. But I'm getting some dill/gherkin and American oak now, just a hint. Like a Bordeaux with a shot of Rioja.
