March 25, 2023 - No recent review but wife and I had 375 ml last night and the wine was perfect. Smooth hint of tannins med body. Opened the bottle then put the cork back in an hour before drinking with dinner rack of lamb and cheesey orzo with focaccia bread. I assume 750 with just the cork pulled 40-60 minutes before drinking will be great.

February 2, 2019 - Each bottle I open with more age, this gets better. Black currant, caramel, tannins starting to tame. Will age many more years. Note: came back to this wine after two days and raised the score another point to 92. This is a wine that just needs time. It keeps improving!

May 17, 2018 - Based on other reviews I was prepared to be disappointed. However, this appears to be opening up. Decanted and left to breath for two hours. Medium indigo in color and medium bodied. Strawberry, cherry, and plum on the palate with a hint of pepper on the finish. Round and a bit flabby. Plenty of structure still. Generally pretty typical of an Alexander Valley Cab. A bit pricey for what it delivers but certainly approachable now.
