October 8, 2023 - Brought this a restaurant in NYC and it was absolutely perfect today. This was probably the best of my 3 bottles that I had of this. It was ready to go right out of the bottle. As soon as you opened the cork, you can smell dark berries, chocolate, and a hint of roasted coffee.
The palate is full bodied, rich, opulent. As soon as you take a sip you can tell this is a very special wine. It has layers and layers of fruit. I do feel that this is starting to be on the downside. It probably peaked about 1-2 years ago. That being said, it still is super enjoyable. But I would advise that if you have this drink it up to fully enjoy this and how good it really is.

February 14, 2023 - Really came into its own after a two hour decant. Started off really nicely with eucalyptus/menthol notes, that gave way later to cherry and red cassis. Adeptly balanced, showing big, CA fruit, but with everything lined up perfectly. A point!

February 6, 2022 - Wow! Wonderfully rich and full Napa Cab. Full of life. Deep purple, soft tannins and big mouthfeel. Ripe fruits and berries. Excellent bottle of wine.

September 30, 2021 - Fantastic wine which was our 2nd of the evening. Powerful upon opening with tremendous concentration of spice, dark fruits with almost inky color. Mellowed considerably as it decanted to a warming spicy finish as the Tannins are will integrated now. Probably near peak though with this concentration I can see more years in the bottle with no problem.
