June 1, 2015 - This wine is in a beautiful place right now. Great concentration and acidity. Beautiful RRV fruit still present in wine. Highly recommended

February 7, 2015 - Popped, decanted several hours, consumed over next two. Solid California Pinot with fairly robust layers of red and dark fruit, refreshing acid for balance and baking spices creeping in to add complexity.

October 19, 2014 - Drinking very well. Still has time so no rush to finish my remaining bottles

September 28, 2014 - Set out to allow the bottle to achieve room temperature and opened approximately 60 minutes before tasting. Floral notes on the nose and an initial cherry cola typical of higher alcohol pinots.
This one has softened and quickly turned to spicy fruit with medium to smooth tannins. There was no over-extracted taste to this bottle that I found in the last one and it was smooth through a medium finish.
It is drinking very well and seems to have some life left in it. Drink or hold for another year or two.

June 22, 2013 - I thought this pinot was overly sweet and not to my liking. I have 3 more bottles and will see how they drink. It is a big red fruity bomb with cherry, cola and hints of vanilla but not enough off setting earthiness for me.
I think this still has plenty of time to drink so will not be in a rush to open my other bottles.
