April 3, 2018 - brick red edge - bright red cherry nose - some muted spiciness, but no real complexity - round full mouth with fully developed mature pinot noir fruit and good acid-tannin balance - medium length finish - this is a very pretty drinking Sonoma PN, but nothing exciting in either the nose or mouth - satisfies the essential criteria for good but not great

January 14, 2017 - Raspberries, cherries, earthiness, and herbal notes in the nose. Black cherries and raspberries in the flavor. Has aged well, long smooth finish and nice complexity.

December 30, 2016 - Slo-ox for 1/2 hour. Drank alongside the 2008 and was bested by it. Seems to be getting a bit long in the tooth as the red fruits (mostly cherry) were fading. Showed some spice and earth, but the acidity threw it out of balance. Drink up sooner than later.

August 8, 2016 - Back from the dead. Don't get old. Plum and blackberry, with a big dose of iron. It's gotten more medicinal over 2 hours, which I could have used this past week. But, I just can't embrace this heavy, alcoholic style. Is it a Pinot or a CdP? Part of the domestic 07 run to the end of bin. No reason to let these get any more evolved than they are.
