    September 4, 2021 - Bright garnet color.

Appealing nose of cherries, baking spices, rose petal and turned earth.

Persistant and balanced palate of red fruits (red cherry), spice, a touch of creme de cerise.

Drinking very well now, quite resolved but will hold. If any criticism perhaps a touch of heat on the end palate.

May 9, 2020 - Drinking very nicely. Well integrated and smooth. Nice fruit on the nose and palate. Did not notice any spice.

March 17, 2020 - PnP. Perfect cork and fill. Medium dark red - little clearing or browning, Lovely nose of spice and cherries; on the palate this has excellent depth, balancing red and black fruits with spice and mineral. Tannins are largely gone and integrated. This is really good and quite a surprise after the last bottle a few years ago. Perhaps 2007 Sonoma Coast Pinots just needed time. Last bottle. I would drink now though based on this bottle these good go another 5 years.

March 11, 2020 - Smells of red fruit with light fall leaves, the taste is still juicy red raspberries/cherries but accented with cloves and spices, a bit of cinnamon. Medium density with balanced acidity and a silky texture. Good finish, tannin is fully integrated. Personally, I would not hold this wine much longer. Maybe a bit past peak for me but YMMV depending on your palate.

November 19, 2019 - Drinking beautifully. Silky mouthfeel, just enough fruit and a subtle complexity.

(Williams Selyem Hirsch Vineyard Pinot Noir) #3; COLOR-medium; NOSE-true California Pinot nose; very fruit driven; a spicy sour cherry; PALATE-very vibrant; a little herbaceousness on the back-end; some great minerality; a very focused Pinot; I like the fruit; VERY complex; has great body; nice weight on the mid-palate transition, but not heavy; this is SPECTACULAR Pinot; a relative value for $72 bones; W&S-95; GV-94
