July 31, 2019 - Quite a rich and honeyed wine. Not in dessert territory, but definitely in the late harvest and vinified into a Spätlese sweetness territory. Peach and ginger focused flavors. Enjoyable on it's own, but more difficult to pair with a dish. Probably best with rich-sauced spicy asian fare.

May 18, 2016 - Pop and poured. Quick session at ES. From Clarence.
Appearance is clear, pale intensity, gold colour. Legs.
Nose is clean, medium+ intensity, with aromas of honey, beeswax, oil, yellow flowers, ripe peaches and apricots. Developed.
On the palate, medium sweet (Indices 4), medium- acidity, medium+ alcohol (13.5%), full body. Pronounced flavour intensity, with flavours of honey, beeswax, unctuous sweet oil, ripe peaches and apricots. Medium finish.
Very good quality. Amazing concentration and ripeness of fruit here. Drink up over next 1 year, not for further ageing as it is already become very fatty. Not for the faint-hearted white wine drinker.

December 31, 2015 - Medium gold in color. A very aromatic nose reveals enticing aromas of ripe apricots and nectarines, tangerine oil, smoke and brown spices. A rich and unctuous palate shows waves of ripe apricot jam, citrus oil, caramel and a long aftertaste of honey. Lovely for a 14 year old Zind PG.

May 16, 2015 - Mid-gold. Honey, apricots, almonds, peppery spices, ripe melons. Full bodied, rich but with a steely backbone, finishing dry. Very long. Really great complexity, very good wine indeed, drinking beautifully now. Worked very well with a smoked trout salad.

March 1, 2015 - Served at room temperature. Medium golden color. Peach, apple, lychee. Exceptional balance with just the right of sweetness to have with a slightly spicey meal and not seem like dessert. At a recent wine tasting which featured high end red burgundies and 82 bordeaux, this wine was one of the most talked about wines. It is exceptional and drinking perfectly now.

September 21, 2013 - Light golden color. Expressive aromas of exotic fruits, like apricot and pineapple. Big, sweet and concentrated. Not the longest finish, though. After 5 hours in the glass, mostly raisiny flavors. Will last for many years, still.
