June 2, 2013 - Bordeaux type blend. Decanted 3 hours. Outstanding! Very dark color. Lengthy legs. Smooth entry. Full bodied and delicious. Extended aftertaste

July 20, 2011 - Still a bit green and a little roughness in the mouth feel. Rich fruitiness without being overpowering. Day two was a little smoother on the palate so worth decanting. Enjoyed it with some spicy Italian sausage. Orofino is definitely making strides with its reds. This was an improvement on previous vintage.

On the palate the oak (or the tannin) was a bit drying... this wine should have been decanted longer, perhaps this would have subsided. PLEASE keep this in mind when considering my note of 87. I will be interested to see some of the other comments, and I will try this again because my experience with this producer has been quite positive in the past.

June 16, 2010 - Dark garnet. Coffee, vanilla, fig, raspberry. Firm tannins. Medium finish. Nice Bdx blend from BC.
