September 7, 2022 - Stunning nose. Definitely the best element. So much red fruit, perfume, and rose petals. The palate is quite lean, especially for a 2002, with raspberries galore. Quite developed for a 2002 and probably at the perfect time to drink. Shared with SJW and Ayub
March 10, 2022 - Wine Tasted at Acker Auction (Marea - New York NY): Small glass, brief note. Ripe red cherry start-to-finish, very balanced and fresh. Sneaky good length.
March 10, 2022 - Pretty wine. Some CdB rusticity but very nicely balanced with acidity and red fruit. 91-92
August 29, 2015 - Drinking at peak. Not as good as the 05 which was magnificent but a very pretty little wine. Nothing intellectual but congenial and pleasant as a burgundy can be.
January 17, 2008 - A nice quality AOC Burg with good acidity and a slight spice and enjoyable as that, but not differentiated enough to be notable.

Very light, lilac - translucent violet
Sweet perfumed nose
Palate shows fresh light body, vibrant (simple) sweet cheery and raspberry, with a nice kick of spicy oak lurking behind.
Great summer pinot.
