June 29, 2019 - I had this bottle sitting in the cellar for five years and I can safely say it has aged well since the the last time I drank it, with plenty of fruit and structure still in play. I doubt you can find this for sale any longer, which is a shame, a quality bottle that in hindsight I should have bought a case of and enjoyed more often.

June 30, 2018 - Still a nice wine, but past its peak. Not much fruit left. Compared to 2009 Monitor Ledge , both decanted and consumed over long dinner.

April 28, 2018 - Still slightly tannic at first, but opens nicely. Lots of black currant with a Christmas spice finish. Tobacco nose.

March 24, 2018 - Perfect age, the tannins have mellowed and lots of plum comes through with a mildly herbal finish

August 19, 2017 - Maturing nicely with good deep dark rich fruit. Really good QPR. Drank at a party so no detailed notes!

    March 10, 2017 - PNP
Eye: Deep purple core to a light purple rim
Nose: Dark black fruits and plums, cassis, leather and hint of toast
Palate:Blackberry, graphite and earth with low acidity and a medium finish

Overall this was pretty good. I do think the acidity is fading but the tannins are still grippy but smooth. I think this is certainly in its prime spot and don't see any improvement coming. I think if stored properly, in a dark cool cellar it has time. If not, drink up, enjoy!
