this wine has a real Tavel side too it...it has great fruit, but also great acidity and a really nice balance and structure...it isn't too lush, nor too dense like many CA roses can be...just a great drink -

July 19, 2009 - Very tasty Rose. Has the umph of regular wine but crisp and refreshing. Not a sweet light mess, this wine has a nose of red fruit yet the syrah and mouvedre give it an earthy smell as well. The palate is rich (grenache?) and structured and it lasts..... it has an almost glycerin mouthfeel possibly due to the viognier in the blend. Overall, a real wine unlike most roses I have tasted.
