September 16, 2021 - Good provenance makes a difference because this wine rocked! Packed with smoke, forest leaf, cedar, cigar box and sweet, currants with a touch of spice and herbs, the wine provides a depth of flavor on the palate and in the long, generous, fresh finish.

June 20, 2021 - Took 30 minutes for a bit of funk to blow off, and then this shined well for a 62 year old bottle. Classic, delicate forest floor and mushrooms. Terrific bottle.

April 2, 2018 - Opened 4 hrs pre serving and left to breathe, had a very heady port like nose, still some fruit and a lot of earthy medicinal aromas. Fell apart a bit in the glass but an interesting experience. This was a bottling by Grants of St James
