December 15, 2014 - A perennial favorite of many a new year's party, and for a reason. While devotees of champagne and high-end sparkling wine might find this sorely lacking in depth or complexity, it's juicy, peachy aroma and joyous palate texture will put smiles on everyone's faces. A rather short finish, but in a wine meant for toasting, glugging, and having another that may even be a calculated move.

Would likely pair nicely with one of those silly English cream-and-fruit desserts, say a trifle or piffle or gooseberry fool. But it strikes me as meant for downing by itself, in the warm company of friends.

September 19, 2012 - Bit too much sweetness and plum taste. Guess I'm just a old dry brut traditional drinker when it comes to champagne or sparkling wine. Acceptable only in my book.
