November 26, 2021 - Plenty of barnyard. My brother thought it was a bit corked. Nonsense I said.

October 4, 2021 - Light, rust red color. Raspberry with wet tobacco leaves and earth. Very light, slightly austere wine with some smoke and strawberry. Planning to drink that last bottle soon.

p.s. grilled cheese and summer tuna salad

July 11, 2021 - This was a little too “light”. Seemed a little “washed out”.

January 16, 2021 - Dull Brownish-red color. Chocolate-covered strawberries and black cherries on the nose. Notes of sweet, ripe red and black cherries dominate. Mixed ripe purple fruits rule the finish, which is sexy and lengthy. Delicious. This was the final epic wine of the night at the deer lease.

December 8, 2020 - Wine was properly stored from purchase upon release until consumed.
Cork was OK, but the wine is clearly getting past its prime. Still good, but not great, as it was a few years back.
Drink it now if you have it, it will not get any better.

December 5, 2020 - Soft nose of raspberries left a little too long, old leather, clove, cumin, rose, and pencil eraser. Fully resolved tannin on the palate. Shortish finish. I imagine this was more dynamic 10 years ago.

June 20, 2020 - Pleasant surprise, as I recall this wine tasting a little green in its youth. This is in a lovely spot, fully mature, round, rich, rsolved, lots of earthier notes from the more brooding grapes like mourvedre and syrah Reminds me how much I liked pre-global warming CdP even though I rarely drink any more

May 7, 2020 - - Garnet color and aromas of tea, tobacco, butterscotch and raisin and has flavours of sherry, oak, medicinal and mushroom - Complex and delicious. Had a few of these recently, and still really enjoable, but most likely not much left. Paired amazingly with pork shoulder iberico steak

April 7, 2020 - Excellent wine. Darker color than anticipated for the age. Moderate nose of blue fruit and pepper. The flavor profile is very nice. Good acidity and firm structure to hang blue fruit, wet stone, pine, and loam on. Lots of fruit that dominates but the other flavors come and go throughout the night. A lot of depth.
